Bio:

Jody Racicot’s thirty-six year artistic career includes working in craft, sculpture, film, TV and theatre.  A board member of the Canadian Crafts Federation, Jody's exhibited and worked from coast-to-coast.  He lives in an old farmhouse in Prince Edward Island with his wife and cats.

Artist Statement:

Red Dogwood is a welded steel sculpture inspired by trees that surround my home in rural PEI. Its roots hold fast as the bright red branches are bent by wind while cradling a small bird’s nest. I hope the sculpture sparks your imagination and connects us.
